About WIWP

Wandering in the Words Press publishes everything from literary fiction and memoir to young adult novels and genre work in both print and ebook formats. Editor and writer Jennifer Chesak pilots the endeavor, which aims to help authors get their works into readers’ hands quickly and efficiently—and polished to perfection.

Wandering in the Words Press offers an independent publishing solution for authors looking to cut through all the red tape associated with getting a book to market. Jennifer Chesak also offers self-publishing options for authors looking to maintain total control over their books, or who wish to create their own brands. Her pro editing services will get your book spruced, goosed, juiced and ready for the masses.

Wandering in the Words Press offers a menu of services such as writing consultations, writing coaching, developmental editing, line editing, final proofing, formatting, and publishing on IngramSpark.

Jennifer is a Nashville-based freelance adventure travel writer (Find her work here!) with more than fifteen years experience and a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill. She's edited nearly 100 manuscripts from clients around the world and locally in Nashville. When she's not writing or editing, Jennifer enjoys mentoring students in Middle Tennessee State University's certificate in writing program, MTSU Write, and teaching workshops through Nashville's The Porch Writers' Collective. In her free time, Jennifer can be found getting dirty in her garden or sweating it out on a running trail. In a former life, she was a television reporter in her native state of North Dakota. Uff-da!
