April is National Poetry Month. To Celebrate, Nashville's The Porch Writers' Collective has collaborated with local poets through its Poetry in Motion Program, in partnership with Metro Arts Nashville, Poetry Society of America, and Nashville MTA to bring you this anthology: Backyards & Boulevards: Words from the Neighborhoods of Nashville. 

Throughout the month of April, the poetry of Nashville's youth will be wrapped around a Blue Circuit bus and Haiku written by Nashville community poets will be displayed in the advertising spaces and fare cards to encourage Bus ridership and poetry appreciation.
